Description of a cycle :
- The production file indicates a change of wires for the forthcoming sheath.
- The spinning bonnet on the spinning machine opens automatically and ejects the wires.
- The central unit of the spinning machine indicates the wires to be selected for the next sheath.
- The wire sorter recovers the electrical wires ejected by the spinning machine.
- The wire sorter ejects the wires selected for the sheath to be produced.
- The operator picks up the wires offered by the wire sorter and inserts them into the wiring system.
For subsequent cycles, the sorter switches to “wire passing” mode and does not intervene during the spinning times. As well as saving time when changing wires, the wire sorter offers real quality gains, ensuring that the operator always inserts the right wires into the sheath. Selection errors are therefore eliminated.
